So if you were going to be marooned on a desert Island and were allowed up to 25 recordings, what would you take?

Here's mine. Subject to change, because it wasn't easy.

1. No More Sad Refrains, Sandy Denny
2. Kind of Blue, Miles Davis
3. Blond on Blond, Bob Dylan
4. Blood on the Tracks, Bob Dylan
5. I’m a Woman, Thirty Years of Maria Muldaur

Good question... The younger croud here uses things called CD's and MP3's...lol

I don't own a single record.

Doc are you still lisening on a crank style phonograph...lol

If I have electricity on this island I will put up my list.

The key to humor is using the unexpected. Guess what? You two ain't funny. The last time I was at the record store there were lots more young folks than old. And CD's, MP3's and Hight Rez downloads are still called recordings, because that's what the RECORDING engineer did. Now, if you don't want to play, that's fine, but quit trashing my thread.

Doc

Albums. And 25 isn't necessary. I had too much time on my hands yesterday.

Doc

Fun idea, Doc. I'll bite.

That WAS hard! Tough to pick one album from an artist, so I got a couple of "greatest hits" in there for more volume. I tried to cover the gambit of my musical taste, since I was to be marooned on a desert Island.
