I saw this when it was originally posted on something awful. I seem to recall the concensus was that most of it was true, up until the very end where things were embellished a bit (right about where he goes into the guys side of the apartment and it catches on fire).

who would someone make up stuff like that he flailed wildly at a trash bag full of filth with a wrench, then later hit himself in the face with it, opening up a gash that got infected? Or that he broke his foot trying to bust a door down?

the whole story kinda reminds me of me and my roomates...but I don't remember the barricades though. I had one roomate that was trying to get a better room...he made stench bombs out of god knows what! I had another that ate nothing but lentils and was a devote vegan, he would plug up the toilet for days. I had another roomate that would try to hustle everyone out of everything. The other was kinda 'femmy'.

Didja ever watch the "young ones"? It was exactly like that...
