The Last in Line is now First

Yes, DIO was awesome! Saw him last with Black Sabbath and my son was fortunate to see his greatness. RIP Dio !

For me...seeing Dio heading up Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow in the 70's was incredible. Like Nikki Sixx said, seeing him belt out 'Man on the Silver Mountain' was almost a religious experience. His voice, Blackmore's guitar...awesome!

DIO!

RIP...and thank you for all the great music Ronnie.

The Westboro Baptist Church--the same enlightened folk who protest at the funerals of homosexuals and soldiers (because God hates the USA due to our acceptance of gays, don't you know...)--will be protesting at Ronnie's funeral.

Infuriating.

Infuriating.

I would wager that the Right Reverend Fred Phelps of the Westboro clan is an owner and user of ball gags, adjustable alligator nipple clamps, pony tail butt plug toys and the full portfolio of Playgirl magazines. As Hamlet's mother wisely said: "The Lady doth protest too much". Anyone who protests that much is worried about themselves more than they are worried about others.

It will be interesting to see if Phelps eats a fistful of metal at this protest.

The Metal God is dead. There will never be another like him. I saw every tour from "Last in Line" to "Lock Up The Wolves". Best Metal show ever. RIP DIO!
