Greetings! I ordered and received my DVD copy of "The Wild Wild West", The Collector's Edition, Volume 1. This DVD contains the first 3 episodes of "The Wild Wild West" series, produced for television. These 3 episodes were originally aired on the CBS Television Network in late 1965. These episodes brought back some great memories. The series was not eventually cancelled because of the ratings, because the ratings were fine. CBS cancelled "The Wild Wild West" because of high production costs. Yes, this series had excellent production values, and the acting was superb. Robert Conrad and Ross Martin were excellent in their starring roles, and each week there were talented guest stars and supporting actors to complete the cast. You might enjoy having your own copy of this very entertaining DVD. Reruns of "The Wild Wild West" episodes are also shown on television worldwide. Are there any other fans of "The Wild Wid West" television series who would like to post their comments? Regards, knightlaird

One of my all time favorite tv shows. The Dr. Loveless eps are priceless. I refused to watch the film based on the series when I found out Kenneth Branagh played Loveless instead of a little person. Plus I heard it was a major piece of shite anyway.

you didn't miss anything... the orignal series kicked ARSE over the movie- I'm sorry to say that I saw the movie (at least I rented it as opposed to seeing it in the theatre)

Great series! Cowboy James Bonds  !
I also refused to see the new pop culture adulterated film version.
I'm picking up the Adventures Of Superman 1st season '50's TV series DVD's. :p
