Color being similar or not, I don't fully comprehend how this didn't raise some consistency and/or odor issues when poured into a glass and then raised to one's nose and then lips. Then, after it is spat out and commented on, the genius barmaid simply goes, "really?? well lemme try..." Brilliance, sheer brilliance.

Now I know who to go to for the ol' smell-my-finger bit.

I think you guys missed the morale of the story... It only costs $750 dollars to poision someone in New Zeland.

Even so Dave, I'm a fan of Steinlager. Big name Aussie beer is pretty ordinary as well, although we have some good boutique breweries.
