I Don't Need No Doctor by Humble Pie

I don't need no doctor
I tell you now
For my prescription to be filled
(I don't need no doctor)
(I don't need no doctor)

Only my baby's arms, ahh
Could ever take away this chill
(I don't need no doctor)
(I don't need no doctor)

Now the doctor say I need rest
(Hey, hey) but all I need
Is her tenderness (mm hmm)
Put me on the critical list
(Hey, hey) when all I need
Is her sweet kiss (mm hmm)

You mean by Ray Charles since he wrote it although the original music was done by Ashford & Simpson. Yes, that Ashford & Simpson.

I have only heard the Humble Pie version ( live version)... though I know Ray Charles wrote it, I have never heard it.

Since it's my theme song, I'll pick which version

I reserve the right to change this at any time but I have "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC stuck in my head.

Dumb all over - Frank Zappa fits for today.

"Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" by Burt Bacharach/Hal David & sung by Dionne Warwick.
That's how the Japanese used to refer to Connery's Bond.

:sign:

"Thunderball" is a good one too.

What's with all this James Bond crap?!

Both great songs though.

On good days it's a tie between Kid Rock's 'Forever' and Chin-Chin by Bang Wa Cherry -(If you gotta have a theme song having it sung by japanese schoolgirls is pretty sweet)

On bad days it's a tie between 'Tangerine' as done by Big Head Todd and the Monsters, and 'The Mountains Win Again' by Blues Traveller.

And on really bad days it's 'The Terrible Mr. Grimshaw' (NOTE: Definetly NOT safe for playback at work, around kids, or the spouse. MAJOR bad language warning!!

Fortunatly, I've been having more good days than bad lately.

Edited to provide a better linky to the Mr. G song

Lmao x I used to watch that show and the song does stick in your head damn you now it will be there all night.

The Ride of the Valkyries from Die Walküre by Wagner.

And on some days, it's Whole Lotta Love (LZ, of course).

One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer - George "The Ugliest Man Alive" Thorogood
