we got a female german shepherd from the pound, mainly wanted something to be home with the little woman when I wasn't. She was very timid and acted like she had been beat. She took to Jamie a lot sooner then me, I think she had a problem with guys. When some one would come to the door, she would go stand by it, but not much else. She told me one day that she was taking a nap, and some one came knocking on our door wanting votes for a town election or something of that sort, but layla (the dog) was standing on the couch with her face in the window barking like crazy. I've never seen that so I wanted to. I went outside while the dog was distracted and beat on the door, Jamie was playing along screaming, the dog went crazy, broke a window getting out side, and she saw me, but kept running around the house looking for someone else. took us like an hour to calm her down. We only had her about a month at this point, been about four years now. I love this dog, if anyone that she don't know gets too close, I know jamie will be ok. Thanks for the video.
