- Start with a French Press of Killer Beans and a Siglo 1
- Next up is a trip to a big local gun and knife show with my son, and a buddy and his son. And I'm taking my credit card.....

- After that, back here with my son for some lunch, a cigar or three (brand and vitola yet to be determined), and perhaps a bit 'o bourbon with a movie.
- General ass sitting, and power lounging for the rest of the day.

What say you, Dad's.....??

The best - B.B.S.

Going to my dad's house for lunch...Afterward a cigar and maybe a bowl of tobacco with a pour of Ron Z.

After almost a year working at HQ on a 40-hr. workweek, today is my first 24-hr. shift of being back in suppression! Bringing my little humi to put in my locker, not sure what I'll smoke tonight in honor of my new crew.

I woke up to full service breakfast in bed compliments of The Pajama Cafe (my 8 and 10yr olds). Thought it was going to rain all day so last night I had some bourbon on my deck watching my kids play in the back yard while enjoying a My Father lancero. They are smoking wonderfully right now. Happy Father's Day!!!

I've got a My Father that will be meeting the torch sometime after lunch. I plan to spend most of the day watching the US Open at Pebble Beach both on the couch and on the patio by the pool. There is a cognac tasting at Total Wine that my son and I may sneak out to attend. Time permitting I hope to pop the cork on my gift, a bottle of Caol Ila 25 that completed my collection of bottles from active Islay distilleries.

I'm going to drive the flightline watching the evening F-16 and Predator launches- talk to my airmen and then comeback and either smoke a Brickhouse or a San Cristobal robusto up on the roof or our Squadron Building ( and dream of the Scotch or Bourbon that I will have paired with the same cigar when I get home..:o) ) then try to get on the phone and talk to my "almost" 3 yr old daughter before heading home to the trailer and my cot to sleep at 2am.

That's right...I'm trailer trash! :o)

Happy Fathers Day every body!

Cheers,

Rob

Welcome back to the line and remember the wet stuff goes on the red stuff!

I am in the same boat myself today, not sure what is in my locker but I'll smoke something today

The wife told me to get back into bed and sleep in. About an hour or so later she brought in my 9 month old son, breakfast, and a gift. (New hammer drill... sweet!)

We made some burgers, and later this afternoon my parents and the in-laws are coming over for a BBQ. If I get a chance and the skeeters aren't too bad, I'll sit outside with a smoke and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Happy dad's day to all the dads out there!

My agenda is Zoo with the family, Ruth Chris steakhouse, put the kid to bed, watch a movie, and finish off with an 85' Monte especial #2 and a glass of Balvenie 12 yr. Doublewood.

Had a terrific breakfast out with my kids at my favorite breakfast place. They serve an omlette with everything but the kitchen sink topped with sausage gravy.
No I am sitting at the B&M with my Son enjoying a Tat Regio.
After that im going home and fixing the leaky kitchen sink...

Got the television in the sun room attached to the cable system and ready for a day of good sports viewing.

Started with the Yankee and Mets game. That demanded a No.49 Anejo with a couple years age and a few drams HC7.

After the Yankee's game, which they won, my wonderful wife prepared a shrimp pasta dish for dinner.

After dinner, settled in for the US Open with an Opus X RdC and a little PVW 20yo.

After the Opus, dug out a Casa Magna Colorado. Very nice day. We will see our daughter on Tuesday in Rhode Island and I will get another Father's Day present.

I hope that all of you Fathers out there had as great a day as I had.

I flew out to KC, MO with my 4 month old son on friday so he could meet grandpa for the first time. Watched the open all week long. Flew back today, watched Hear no evil, See no evil, and am smoking a H. Upmann under the glow of my yellow porch light (keeps the bugs away) with my dog and some beers.

I made it to Nellis safely...after about a million hours of delays, overlays and general ass-pain that describes flying international. Sent Dad an email letting him know I was "local" (he's in Texas). Missing my boy. He made me an awesome card filled with private jokes he and I share. J just rolled her eyes and mumbled something along the lines of "dorks". :p

Father's Day...got up at 7:30 Sunday morning when my 20mo daughter awoke. Changed and played with her for a bit then plopped her in front of the TV with Elmo while I took a shower. My 7yo boy woke up, and I got him and the baby ready for their day. Woke up my wife and fed the kids breakfast as she got ready. Split up the kids...I took my daughter to Gymboree, my wife took my son to his swim lesson. Joined up afterwards and headed out to my son's to his hockey game. We had a quick drive thru lunch as my wife dropped my son and I off at the movie theatre to see Karate Kid with some friends of ours while she hit the supermarket and put our daughter down for a nap. Got a lift home and we headed out to a Father's Day pool party at a buddy's home. Had some ribs, BBQ chicken, potato salad, cole slaw, cheesecake, and a few other odds and ends. I brought along some AF Anejo 49s that I smoked with friends while drinking DFH Black & Blue that afternoon and evening. Another buddy joined us later that evening bringing over some Montecristo Afrique Sublimations. Enjoyed the Anejo...the Sublimations I could have done without. Left the party about 8:30ish...picked up the nanny at the train station...got the family home. Cleaned up the kids and got them ready for bed. My wife put them to bed as I headed to my office to finish some work before Monday's grind. All in all...not a bad Father's Day.
