Went down to Kentucky to herf with some friends and had the opportunity to enjoy many fine cigars.

Thursday (at home but visited by Devin Cole and Pete):
1980's Montecristo Dunhill Seleccion #1

Friday (at Lake Barkley in KY):
1991 Cohiba lancero celloed (this came direct from Min Ron Nee's humidor :))
late1980's Davidoff Latour

Saturday (in Paducah):
Custom rolled Trinidad double robusto (Partagas factory 2001)
1991 Cohiba Exquisito celloed
Cohiba Esplendido Seleccion Reserva (Thanks Floyd!!)
Cohiba Millennium piramide

Probably one of the nicest weekends I've had all year. Really needed this getaway. Maybe this'll clear my head and I can get myself back to normal. :)

Nice line up Matt

That Latour looks like my favorite of the bunch ;)

The Monte Dunhill Seleccion was over and above any of the others. It was beyond divine! :)

I don't recall anyone ever accusing you of being normal. :D

Amazing line up, glad you had a good time.

Not a smoke in the bunch that I would even dare to dream of :)

Great line-up, sounds like you had an awesome weekend for sure.

Sounds like you definitely had a great weekend........and great cigars too.
Glad you enjoyed yourself. :)

:0 :0 :0 What a lineup. How was the Trini custom Matt?
Actually it was very good. I have had a couple of the newer ones and one from the farmhouse and this one was unlike any of them. It was a cross between a Fundadore and an Esplendido. Very nice flavors and a nice burn. Really enjoyed it. Aside from the '91 Exquisito it was the best smoke of Saturday.

Sadly, the last LaTour I had was plugged. :(

Being brand new to really storing/aging cigars, I wouldn't have a clue what something like a Latour of this vintage would be valued. Can anyone give me a guess? How hard is it to even find something like that in the general public?
Sounds like a great group of cigars, Im jealous, but happy for you! :D

usual retail right now is around $150-$175 each

WOW! I guess you did have an excellent birthday! Good for you!
Heres a question: Is there a site where vintage aged cigars are auctioned?
(Not that I could afford any, with all the CBIDing I have been up to), but it sure would be interesting.

I think Im gonna head out to the porch and fire up a fine Cohiba Red Dot Robusto to toast your birthday, .......I think they retail for around 8or 9 bucks(Each) ;)

Wonderful weekend! I enjoyed a Diamond Crown and a VSG Enchantment after getting off of work ;)

Some Time down at Lake Barkley and over to the caves to set up the camper in the national park is being planned for later this year.
