anyone tried it yet? It was just released, and i might be wrong, but it's the 1st release. Basically it's a cask strength Sazerac rye. I got a bottle the other day, and i'll post a tasting on it tonight :)

i can't remember all the details as it was over a week ago, but man oh man, what a tasty whisky! For it's strength, it's remarkably smooth. It seems to be a bit sweeter than the Sazerac 18, and really intense flavors

just poured 2 fingers and added a few ice cubes (it's 139 proof), also lit a Monte #2.

Nose is really nice, hints of vanilla, honey, and oak maybe? Taste is sweet like the 18 yo Sazerac, also can taste vanilla, as well as charcoal, not sure how to describe much further, other than very complex, too many flavors to ID.

this is good stuff, although my reviewing skills are very limited. It does warm you down to your stomach...
