I live in an apartment. My addy listed in my profile is the leasing office, you know...leaving a box in a common hallway is just asking for disaster. Well, it's summertime and the older kids ( you know them as "PUNKS" ) broke into the office and vandalized it.

That sucks...right?

Well, I'm involved in a pass right now and thankfully, I got the pkg. the DAY BEFORE!

Freaked the $hit outa me though... :whistling:

Yea, when I lived in an apartment, I quickly learned the times/route of my mailman. If I was expectin' a "package", I'd hunt him down early. ;) But then again, I work in the city I live in so it's easy for me to do. :whistling:

I live in a townhouse type apartment with only 4 aparments. Mine's upstairs, so the only person who'd see a package is the owner's daughter who lives across from me. I've not had anything stolen yet.

get yourself a p.o. box at the post office..I used to trade videos and found it was much easuer to go get trades there then hope they survived the mailbox.

Yes, but we know from experience that even a back porch of a private home is not safe from thievery

that is why i ask that all passes or trades i participate in be sent to the outlaw. early morning delivery 6 days a week like clockwork!
my mailbox is in the parking lot of the apts. and gets checked about every 3 days. thats about all itll hold, 3 days worth of junkmail :D

When I'm home in Baltimore, I live in an apartment complex and the office takes all the packages; they never leave anything at the door. When I'm on the road (which is most of the year), I usually just get everything delivered to my jobsite. But I've noticed I don't get much work done the afternoon I get a package delivered from Cigarbid. Good thing I work in construction so I can just hang out outside the job trailer and smoke one my new sticks near the end of the day!

I've been lobbying my neighborhood association to install trash cans next to all the mail boxes (we have the kind where the mail for 6-12 houses all goes to one big metal case) so we can just throw out the junk mail right then and there.

Nothing is worse than having to carry that crap back inside your own home and put it in your own trash.....what a waste.

Being the leasing manager of an apartment complex I can feel your pain... luckily nobody has ever vandalized my office. But I do know what you mean about packages left in halls... quickest way to have a delivery disappear. :(

i live in apartments, but, luckily, my girlfriend works in the leasing office; and the mailman lives down the hall, so i don't have to worry about much.

I've got the same setup Drake. It's a nice setup especially when you work overtime and can't make it home in time for pick up.
