man, I have no fresh fillets to smoke... all my salmon is smoked already. As far as meats... remember my little 'incident'??? The wifely unit has banned meat smoking (boy, THAT sounds bad...) in the new smoker... and I have not fixed the old one yet.

I'll work on her a little tho- I might be able to change her mind if I tell her I'll win her some more goodies! :laugh:

What a coincidence... we were just looking at the smokeoff thread yesterday!

This should be a new 'Man Law'....

Wifey units are not allowed to tell you what goes in the grill. :p

As for the salmon....I think you have the science down. If majority rules on the choice of another salmon cook off, I couldn't back down...but I'm leaning towards something new.

Agreed... but when it came out of the budget and she was expecting something entirely different (like blinds in the house! :laugh: ) I have to give a little leeway!

and I think there are others that are now smoking meats, no thanks to you Hillybilly! make it a board wide challenge to really treat the judges!

I think we could be impartial judges, man I'm drooling already.
