Almost ROTT (yesterday) - very good!

Ferio Tego Timeless Sterling Toro
Almond, salt and buttered toast start - very mild. Roasted nuts, white pepper, floral notes, cream and very faint vanilla sweetness. Finished mild plus with vanilla, raisin and a very nice mild spice. Enjoyable breakfast smoke with black Colombian coffee.

I love reading your reviews Nick. Keep up the great work!

‘11 Cohiba 1966 EL - smoked one upon release. Meh….so it’s now been 15 years since I smoked one. What a difference a few years makes. Kept them sealed in plastic for slower more graceful aging. Butterscotch. Bittersweet Chocolate - retro brings the most rich chocolate soufflé. Such a brilliant two hours.

Thanks Craig and likewise-only wish I had your humi to review🤩! I’m still new and miss a lot but taking notes is the the best way to learn what I like and the only way I’ll remember any of them 🤣

Oak, black pepper and coffee to start. First third ends with significant bitterness. A heavy vegetal note begins the second with wood, earth, white pepper and burnt tea leaves. Finally, cedar, leather and caramel appear with more pepper and late lime. Just okay. I’m trying this series from lightest to darkest wrapper which I would typically expect to increase in enjoyment as I generally prefer more age in a wrapper, but I liked the Sterling (shade) better than this one (Sumatra).

LFD DL700 Maduro double ligero. In my previous post I mentioned we are dog sitting a 1 year old Havanese named Sofia ( yes she has an official AKC name and came with certs etc ). After having 4 pugs over 40 years, and sadly no pugs for the last 8 years we were happy to be asked to dog sitting. The breed originated in Cuba. She is now full grown and 12 pounds. We have not, heard her back, but she makes a soft whine. Very astute and, loving. Loved kids and being around people. Does not shed but for full potential, must be groomed.

A-dorable! And a great stick to boot. I was looking at those last week. They are on my short list to revisit. Happy puppy sitting!
