Tight pack but good draw, unlike the brown label 1844. Dark earth, black pepper, chalkiness. Cocoa, earth, black and white pepper, espresso with a faint citrus note. Final third shows a little transition but not much. Nutty, earthy, cocoa, spice with a hint of vanilla. Full body, medium strength, mild flavor. Okay but not one I would seek out.
