Interesting you brought this up, Doc. I just received a prayer book, best I can tell it was printed back in 1916. The first few pages have a calendar, and it was listed there. It was the first time I had ever heard of it.

It was called that in the 50's and 60's when I was growing up. I kind of like tradition and I guess it's no longer PC to call the holiday, actually Holy Day of Obligation, what it really is. I like to remind folks, in my unique way regardless of what Kona thinks.
