WOOHOO !!! The wifey scored us press passes for tonights event, HERE . We attended this event last year as well and loved it! There are about 53 wineries that work with a restaurant of their choosing to come up with a dish that pairs well with their Zinfandel. It's a walk around event so we get to try a little bit of everything. There are a few wineries that we can't wait to see what they come up with this year.

Our favorite at last year's event was St. Amant's Zinfandel with the Chocolate Spring Mix Salad w/Blue Cheese ..... awesome!

Wow ....... some great wines, some aweful wines, some bad pairings and a few good ones. Most of the fun is seeing a bunch of old friends and getting a little buzz on.

Tomorrow is the BIG tasting festival, tonight is all about preparing for a major day of wine tasting.
