Please ignore anything I am about to say on the subject if someone posts advice contractidictory to mine. They probably know more than me so it will be ok ;-)
I have personally found that if you are the type to smoke them within a few weeks, then leaving them in the tube will both protect and "seal" the cigar from marrying with other cigars, which will leave you with a cigar that tastes exactly like the manufacturer intended it for.
If, you are not going to smoke them for months, then perhaps taking them out of the tube - or better yet unsealing the top of the tube is best to allow humidification. By leaving them in the tube topless you also still give it some protection and avoid to much marrying of other cigars.
Now, as I said, more people out there with better advice and more experience than me, so if they say something contractidictory to this go with them. Unless it's Dave. Then he is probaly just messing with you :sign:

PS Ok listen to Dave if he speaks jeesh.
