i'm bidding on some cigars on cbid and asked here if the cigars were worth the price in the cigar disscussion forum, one of the brothers suggested i try ubid, anyone do business with these people? thank for any help! RE :D ALLY GOOD PRICES!

I have purchased one item from ubid, a watch, which I thought was a pretty good deal. The service was good and the product was as advertised. No problems. I have not checked it out for cigars or related stuff.

Thanks alot for helping me find yet another way for me to spend more money on cigars!

I had bought some stuff from ubid a long time ago.... at least two years. From what I remember about them, at the time, they had decent deals on some high end audio stuff from time to time. I recall coming close to buying a Harman Kardon receiver from them. I did purchase some video games for the kids and I think some sunglasses. I think their shipping was a bit high.... but that was a long time ago.

Like any auction place.... know the price you could regularly find the item for online. Depending on the item if there isn't at least a 20% savings I don't mess with getting involved simply because of most auction sites cumbersome return policies.

About 6 or 7 years ago I bought a Big Bertha driver from ubid for $75. I also bought a compaq presario about the same time. I just replaced it last month. I got a great deal on it too.

The cannister of Centurian XX I bought from Ubid was cheaper than what I usually see it on CBid, bought it, had no problems. Shipped out and was delivered within a week.

OK

I went and checked out UBID for cigars. They have them there, but starting prices seem to be higher than what I have seen the same thing sell for on CBID.

Conclusion: CBID is still the Devil
