Couple things:

1st, what's everybody feeling on the Florian vs. Huerta fight? It almost seems like a coin flip to me right now, although the edge in experience definitely goes to Kenflo. I mean, besides Guida, has Huerta really beaten anyone?

2nd, the commercial on the radio this morning claimed that Brock Lesnar "showed why he is a rising superstar in the UFC in his fight against Frank Mir." Mmmk, maybe they didn't see the fight. Brock might be huge, fast, and strong, but if I remember correctly, he got caught in the slowest ankle lock in the history of MMA.

And finally, MatthewKolden has a seriously unhealthy man-crush on GSP.

Ok first, yes. My man-crush on GSP is seriously huge, but feels entirely healthy to me. His incredible talent and innocent accent make him a natural for me to love.

Ok seriously now though....

The radio commercial also claims that Brock Lesnar is a "UFC superstar" which really is just laughable. Maybe he's improved significantly since his loss to Frank Mir, but that was also a loss to a Frank Mir who was nowhere near what he used to be. To me, Brock is just a huge dude who can hammer fist but seriously lacks the necessary skills to be a true competitor in MMA.

As far as Huerta/Kenflo goes.... my predictions is Huerta. Just a feeling, and maybe a little bias since my wife knows him. All I know for sure is i'll be in those stands watching it live. Not trying to rub it in, just excited.

Brock had an impressive showing, good patience and control. With those heavy hands and quickness he will be hard to beat

JSP, is a machine!!!
