chewbacco
darkside looks appealing...
I decided to give it one more shot tonight.
I went to the following cigar store:
The Nickel Cigar
6679 West Ken Caryl Ave
Littleton, CO 80128
(303) 904-8760
Mon - Fri until 6:30
I chatted with the owner (Jim) and explained to him my problem with California cigar prices and about my cigar troubles here in Denver.
He was really generous with me...he gave me a Camacho Select, a corona sized cigar with a sun-grown looking wrapper. He told me that this particular cigar is hard to find...was I appreciative!
The store isn't too large...the main entrance has accessories. There's a separate walk-in humidor further in. There's also a smoking area with seats.
The selection there is pretty good.
I'm gonna try to remember some of the selection and prices.
Here's some of what I remember:
Opus X (XXX $11.95, Perfecxion #2 $18.95, Super Belicoso $16.95)
Rocky Patel Vintage 199X ($8 ~ $10)
Ashton VSG's (including the Tres Mystique $9 ~ $11)
Camacho (Coyolar Figurado $5.XX, Edge maduro $5.XX)
Cuesta Rey (Centennario Belicoso No. 11 Maduro $7.25)
A. Fuente (Short Story $5, Work of Art Natural $9.50)
Chateau Fuente
Partagas Black ($9.XX)
La Gloria Cubana
Punch
La Aurora (E. Leon Maduro $6.95)
Padron (2000 Maduro $5.XX)
Diablo
La Flor Dominica (Liguero's)
Trilogy (Exotic)
Ashton Natural
Bolivar (lots...some in tubes)
padron 1964 (Diplomatico $15.95)
I couldn't get myself to buy too many since I don't have anything to protect them while travelling.
I promise...no more about Denver
I hope this helps people get an idea of prices here in Colorado.
Seems that the lower section of Colorado has lots of cigar stores.
The town of Littleton seems to have quite a bit of cigar stores.
