In Feb, I posted about THIS beautiful item. Here's an update on the second version:
Cigar in the Bottle will make its public debut at this November's Big Smoke in Las Vegas, the only place to find this exclusive coupled brandy/cigar package; the initial marketing strategy is for casinos to carry Cigar in the Bottle and to gift it only to elite high rollers. Late in 2004 or early in 2005, a second version of Cigar in the Bottle will be released and sold throughout the United States -- this one will have Grand Pommier XO Calvados brandy instead of Grand Pommier XS, and the cylinder will be filled with an as yet undetermined Fuente Fuente OpusX.

Whiteash.com is one of only six authorized dealers in the US to sell the Forbidden X !!!

Thank you for your interest in the cigar-in-the-bottle. The price will be $250 a bottle. It will be available in the fall of 2004. We are taking pre-orders now and also taking names down. It would be a good idea to reserve them now. There will be a two page spread on the product in the June 2004 issue of the Robb Report.
Also, check-out their website www.cigarinthebottle.com Remember this is the only way one can obtain the Fuente “Forbidden X Cigar”. Please call Russell Shinn at (800) 339-0609 or email him to place your pre-order.

It'd be cool to have as a show piece but somebody slap me if I ever spend $250 on 1 cigar. :0

Well, you get liquor, too. Drink the whole bottle, you'll forget what you spent on it, and wake up in a gutter. ;)

Hmmm...$250.

I'd rather buy a bottle of Thunderbird and a half box of Opus X Double Coronas :)

Too bad the liquor is made in France!

You can have the liqour and I will keep the cigar :D

You realize that the amount of Calvados looks like it is less than 200ml maybe under 150 so you won't wake up in the gutter. For $250 I'd get a few decent cigars and a whole 750ml bottle of Laphroaig 30.

Dang, I should've bid on the one at the SA herf. I think it ended up selling for $150.
