Any of y'all that are in the area, oughta stop by and say hey! These folks have a great operation going and are as friendly as they come. I've been doin' e-business with 'em for a few years and finally got up that way to visit. I only had a day and a half but that was all I needed. The customers are the best as well (ya know, for New Yorkers anyway ;) )

They welcomed me with open arms and we had a great time. Michelle and Bruce run a straight up shop and Arlene and Scott are top notch co-workers! You can check out their site at Up Town Cigar Co. .

Hard to find a good shoeshine stand anywhere now. Couple local car washes here have them, my barbershop used to have one, but the guy who ran it passed away, and no one took his place. If they allowed cigar smoking, I might consider it after I retire! ...lol
 
One of my Local B&M's has a shoe shine stand. For the regulars they usually do it for free and there’s a great Italian restaurant next door. If only they had a better selection.

Wish there was a nice cigar lounge in my state!

Brother,

If you're that close, you definately oughta stop in and say hey. They have the coffee and cookies/cake for the early arrivals and the smokes to enjoy while there. They also have the couches and chairs to support comfort while discussin' the world affairs(or Hillary if you're so inclined :whistling: ).

Next time up I'll remeber to get up with ya.

My mom lives in Kingston, so I stopped by while I was up there for her Birthday/Christmas. Pretty nice setup for it's size, and they don't hound you like some places - unless you ask for help of course ;)

Over-paid for some sticks (NY taxes suck), and bought a Xicar cutter gift set for a great price (the tear-drop lasted a whole 5 days before breaking - and it was actually one of the German versions. Doubt I'll even bother sending it in, can't imagine how bad it will be with the cheaper version, but the Mean Sardine is pretty darned good). Definately worth checking out if you're nearby.
 
Hey Stogieman and IgwanaRob.....I'm gonna be back in the area this Tuesday and Wednesday (25th and 26th) if ya wanna stop over for a smoke. I'm still not sure on evening plans but we can discuss it if you're gonna come over. Michelle and Bruce are great people though, I'm sure we can figure something out.

Good timing :p I live about 3 hours from there normally, but I'm down in South Carolina with my broither's family until this weekend, and my mom is actually coming down here this week as well. Have fun!
