USS New York

I was privileged enough to go to see the USS New York. Words can't describe her as well as her crew and the Marine detachment.

If you are in the NY City area take a look at her, she is a special ship! It's a humbling experience, since family members have been leaving remembrances from their family members who perished on September 11.

Thanks for sharing tone-ny. I think I will bring my son down into the city to see this steel behemoth. At only 7 years old he won't grasp the full significane of this, but one day...maybe.
