That's right folks. Da Newf and his lovely bride of 28+ years will once again invade Cuba for a week of sunshine and white sandy beaches, not to mention we can eat, drink and (censored) ourselves silly for 7 days. That is besides, of course, smoking as many Cuban cigars as I can fit in my face!!!

We'll be staying at the Club Amigo Atlantico 1 hour outside Holguin at the very reasonable price of $1116.00 for both of us (not each, both of us), all inclusive including flight, bungalow at the resort, food, booze, yadda yadda.

Can ya tell I'm jacked??

Actually, I'm taking a couple of dozen Edge Torp Maduros with me. Last time I was in Cuba, I had 1/2 dozen and some locals went absolutely stupid over them.

I saw a story on Americans sneaking off to vacation in Cuba recently. The angle on the piece was the possible lifting of the embargo and opening Cuba up to America. As much as some folks would love to see that happen, pretty much everyone agreed it would only be a short amount of time before American capitalism stomped Cuba's culture to unrecognizable bits.

I can't speak to how Cubans live under Castro. I'm guessing it is bad. Just seems to me that the best scenario for them would be to get someone less f'd up to run the country, and keep the doors to America tightly regulated. It would be interesting to see Marx's theory of Modern Communism in practice. Isn't that what these c.cksuckers had in mind when they overran the govt? I need to read more on this. Anyway....

Bring us back more than just cigar porn. I'm sure we'd all love to get some first-hand perspective on what's going on in that country.
