Damn right. Ill be out at a city function tomorrow all day, supervising my Police Explorers. Nothing like passing on some honor and respect.

Too bad I can't have a cigar there. That will be after I come home!

You have an exploring post at your PD? That's awesome!

I was dropping off apps. for re-charter at our PD's post today. On behalf of the Boy Scouts of America...thanks for making an impact on those kids' lives!
 
Oh wow, small world dude! Yeah, I have only been doing it for a couple months now, its great. Not paid, volunteer only because of budget. :(

If you ever want to talk to another post (ours has been extremely successful) I can give you the detective's contact info that is the post adviser. They take the explorers to different competitions where they test their skills and physical aptitude to compete against other posts. In fact, their program is so exciting to the kids that the youth told the PD that they want their meetings to be 3 hours long as opposed to just an hour. Since your just getting started...if you ever have any questions or need suggestions...shoot me a pm.

Yes indeed, thank you to all that have served and to those still serving. Even more, thank you to those of you that support the Veterans. Even the smallest note of thanks touches our hearts and strengthens our resolve greatly. Without you Patriots we Veterans would have nothing to come home to.
