Many heartfelt thanks to all the veterans who have sacrificed so much for us.
My son is training in Korea right now and I'm taking my littlest daughter to march in a Veterans Day Parade in Wahiawa (she's in an All Girl Marching Band)
One of the few holidays that actually has real meaning behind it and yet so many Americans don't even know its Veteran's Day today. I'm proud to call myself a Disabled Veteran and thank you to all Americans that have served, now serving and also to future Americans that will serve. Now its time to go smoke a cigar and only the best from my humidor will do.
Thank you to all veterans for your service to our country! We owe to you and your families a debt we can never repay. And from myself, a special thanks to my grandfather, great uncle, aunt, uncle, two cousins, and my little brother!!
A neighbor down the street fired 5 rounds into the ground before his buddy raised the POW/MIA flag in his front yard. As the flag rose another guy played Taps, as 4-5 of their friends looked on. I hope they guy doesn't get in trouble, but I kinda liked it. John
Happy Belated Veterans Day to all my fellow comrades in arms. A first was had yesterday when the NYC Veterans Day Parade was telecast on the local NBC station.
Thanks to all who served before us for their sacrifices, so that we may enjoy the freedoms we so cherish. And to all those that continue to serve my undying gratitude for what you do every day on our behalf.
