I'm going to be in Vegas next week for business. First trip there. I realize there is a ton to do, but looking for recommendations on...

Which casinos, restaurants, golf courses, tourist places and cigar shops (Casa Fuente will be my first stop hands down).

Thanks!

Where are you staying? How many days? Can you quantify the sort of experience you're looking for? For example, Mandalay Bay is laid back and quiet while New York New York is a twenty-something party playground.

If you are a food buff, the best all you can eat places are the Rio, and my personal favorite is the one at the Paris, about 30 bucks a person but it's all you can eat, not like the cheap smorgasborgs you usually associate with all you can eat places, lots preumium meats, lamb, kabobs, fish, salmon, grilled vegetables.... well worth the 30 bucks IMO. And like you already mentioned, the forum shops.... one of the places to shop, but there is also the vegas outlets, which has a numerous stores and pretty good prices, and if you're taking your girl they got a coach store... but you just might wanna stay away from there for the sake of your wallet. LOL

My list for a first-time, cigar-smoking visitor:

- a cigar atop the Stratosphere tower at night. Lounge used to be cigar friendly, but maybe that has changed?
- Bellagio fountains at the top of the hour.
- nice folks at Casa Fuente.
- wildlife at the Mirage and Mandalay Bay.
- Vegas Hilton, Caesar's or South Pointe sportsbooks for March madness.
- Rio for free tits and ass (mostly ass).
- food: who cares?

You can always come see me, I'm fun!

Nah, there are a few threads on vegas here, if you want some more info on good B&M's let me know.

On a side note I tried to go to Casda Fuente today for a member here to check prices and they wouldn't let me in, even to to humidor, because I'm not 21. I was told "There's a cigar chop on the casino floor...they might have Fuente's." I can understand being carded if I tried to get a drink, but they wouldnt even let me through the front door, which didnt give me a good first impression.

Met up with Scott tonight...had a good time. We're going to meet up again at a local B&M tomorrow.

Andrew...sorry about your misfortune. It's because they have a bar inside and they are strict about age minimum.

Let me know when you want to visit it again...I'll get ya in.

Yah, I understand how it is and all, but the woman was pretty rude about it, talking like I wanted a freakin' Helix or something.

Hey man.... we all gotta hook up one day while in Vegas. I'm sure we can have some fun at the Casa.
