The Check List Lady, here in my ward, has no sense of humor. As she was fumbling with my ballot she said " They're sticking together." I replied, "That's ok, I'll take four or five." She didn't even smile.

Got to the polls at 10:30AM and was out in ten minutes, used a paper ballot. :thumbs:

Electronic ballots here; first time I've used one. Polling lady had to show me how to turn it on. Pretty simple after that . . . nine full screens of candidates, bonds initiatives and propositions, though.

Bit harder to trust than the paper kind. The last machines I voted on read the ballots electronically but stored the paper copy. That seemed better.

How do you challenge, recount or even verify random configurations of electrons?
