Washington to start talks with Cuba?

I am not fully updated with the ongoing plans I guess for Obama's administration to resume talk with Cuba, if or when they resume will this affect the current embargo on Cuban cigars by JFK? Where does the cigar community stand on this matter.... I personally think that it has been long overdue with the embargo, the USA has been deprived for too long!!!
