Watch pictured in CA

I finally cracked open this months CA and began reading through it. On page 44 they picture a watch that 1) I'll never be able to afford and 2) has a weird hand at the top that I can't figure out what it's for.

There's a small arc that, starting on the left, has B, a red zero, the numbers one through seven and then an H. Except for the zero, everything else are black characters.

Anyone know what this is for? :)

My guess...It measures some sort of strength, like the strength of a signal. B stands for one end of the scale, H for the other and the numbers are the relative strength.
