Well we got it.. Sandy and I sold the house a few weeks back and have been really searching for a new place. We found a few but they weren't 'animal friendly', so we scratched those.. then just when we thought things weren't looking to good...POOF...this place pops up (Divine intervention I'm sure)..we are downsizing as the retirement thing is right on the horizon for us. me 48 and her 50 and retired...how sweet it is...well semiretired anyway. I will continue to teach and Sandy for the first time in 34 yrs will take a summer off and just chill. We are both Telco people and one of the R&D org's is already looking for her to start some Project Management stuff for them already..heheheheh. she's not even gone yet. And they are looking for me to do some out of country work too. So i think semi retired is the word of the day


Anyway we put in an offer on the condo and they accepted..

so now we are the new owners of a 2 br condo about 10 mintes from the CT shorline..

On the beach...That'll be me ...the big guy with the shaved head, smoking the stick and hanging with my number 1 babe...


TONITE we spark the OLDIES and open the good wine.....

Congratulations.

We're just getting ready to try to sell our apartment in Brooklyn... I'm a little nervous, but maybe your good luck will head down this way.

My wife and I bought a condo after our last child graduated college. I enjoy condo living. We have a free standing cape style house. Full basement and 2 car garage. No lawn work or snow removel. That's the best part.
 
That is good stuff. Your story about you and your #1 babe, retirement, I can feel the vibe you and Sandy have, thanks for sharing.

Oh, Jane, my #1 babe has been looking after this once demanding but now mellow retired man for 30 years. As the song goes...
