Shark In The Water
All my Vegas info is dated so it may no longer exist but if you happen to be at the Luxor and would like a sandwich, the Nile Deli near the sports book had a brisket on a Pretzel Roll that will change your life.
When I go to Vegas, I go from Poker Room to Poker Room and only do touristy stuff unless I am dragged kicking and screaming away from the Poker Table.
I know you can fire automatic weapons and do indoor skydiving over a giant fan. Supposedly the Pinball Museum is much better than it sounds.
My favorite part of going to Vegas is Sedona, AZ but it isn't a day trip from Vegas.
There are more world class restaurants in Vegas than any similar size city in the world so if you are serious about food, you can get a serious fix. Pretty much any chef that is anybody, has a restaurant in Vegas.
They changed the name of the Nile Deli to the Backstage Deli but other than that your information is right on the money (especially about the food and restaurants). If your having a hard time deciding between any of the Cirque shows; I will say that IMHO it is a waste of time and money to try Criss Angel's "Believe" as opposed to "LOVE" (phenomenal), "O" (terrific), or "KA" (equally good).
