Yesterday I tried to access CP all day. Each time I did all I got was posts from May 31 and back. I posted a couple threads to see what was going on and now none of them are here. LMAO Too Funny, now what was going on? The Cigar Pass Gods must not have liked me for some other things I said this weekend. Guess I'll have to go burn some leaf to repair my relationship with them. LMAO
 
I saw it too - I even responded to a couple of your threads. I talked to Rod about it last night - he never saw the problem, apparently it was fine for him all day.

I experience the same thing...I have been since the change over. I get kicked back to the old board...before the change over. It seems to happen a couple times a day on my end. I figured they just had not completed everything...so I've dealt with it. I'll have to shut down and log in a few times before I'm back to the new board. ???
 
It is impossible for you to see the old board, since it's been deleted. Sounds like you need to clear out your CACHE. Click on TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > and clear out your cache in there.

BTW, I DID clear out my cache - it didn't help yesterday.

Speaking of tin foil... I am and Electronics Technician in Coast Guard...and when the young fng's report aboard and come see me, we have this "special" check-in sheet for them to complete. Examples of which are: 1. Go get assigned your DC punch for General Quarters(basicly you ask the Damage Controlman for this hardest hit to your shoulder) 2. When you are checking in with the XO, ask for the keys to the sea chest 3. Go see the Chief Boatswain Mate for your allotment of shore-line 4. See the Quartermaster for 25 grid lines. 5. Learn how to align the main radar. This was among other things. And before you were allowed any liberty or if we were underway, TV lounge privledges.
Well to align the radar we would have the poor SOB get a roll of tin foil and have him bring it up to combat. Then we would wrap him w/ tinfoil and take him to the forcastle and make him wave his arms wildly while jumping up and down. Damndest site you ever seen. The Captain signed off on it as it was 1. Very entertaining for the crew 2. Got the FNG to get to know his way around the ship and meet people he might not normally talk to 3. Taught a lesson in humility in order to keep people from coming on with heads that their neck couldn't support(New officer's mostly) You guys ask Puro or Dave(Navy right?) about that crazy crap.

Anyway what is CACHE...I'm not seeing it ???
 
Right now it's doing that? If so, it's your cache. Cache is old internet files that are stored on your computer. Follow the step in my previous post on how to clear that out...
 
All I see is clear history..or clear out all the cookies...I'm not sure what CACHE is ???

FYI..no it's not doing it at this time...but has over the last week.

I don't think you'll see it again. Over the weekend I removed the rest of the old database, so I think you're fine now. :)
 
The same thing as what Beast said about the last post being from Husker Mike was happening here. I clean the cache almost daily so it wasn't that. Plus, I was able to post to it and see a new date. It's just one of those weird chits that happen on the web! Like all those porn pictures that just suddenly appear on my hard drive. LMAO :thumbs:
 
1. I saw the same message from HuskerMike as the most current, so maybe it was a mass psychosis thingy.
2. You may know your Cache as "Temporary Internet Files". Clear out those to empty your cache.

I deleted the entired database on Saturday, so if it hasn't happened since then, we're fine. ALSO, Make sure you are on PAGE 1 of topics. :sneaky:
