Seems like a lot of the stuff that was broken for me on the previous version, work now. Nicely done so far, Rod! I was getting tired of constantly having to switch compatability mode on and off for different parts of the site.

We getting a sweet new skin for the site as well?
 
I am working on a new skin. This time it will be more clean and modern looking. Glad to hear it's working better for you!

Unfortunately it appears that the avatar size changed, so you'll need to re-upload your avatar.
 
I hope avatars get fixed in the near future. Other than that pretty nice.
 
They probably won't, and you'll probably need to re-upload them.

Rod...Just spoke to Tom (B.B.S.), he's having issues.....the forum is unable to load at his place of work. They run IE 8.

Is the brown skin gone?

Does this new environment come with directions? :0
 
Only thing I've noticed other than search being broken is that we have to go to someone's profile to see how long they've been a member. It would be nice to have that right under the avatar again. Other than that ... so far so good. :thumbs:

I never understood the reason for having two separate avatars. It was not my choice to consolidate into one, however that is how the new software is written.

As far as posting the join date under their avatar, that is something I will look into -- I do agree that should be there.

The old skin is gone for now, until I finish redesigning the new one.

The forum works fine in IE -- if you have contact with Tom, ask him to try FireFox so that we can identify the issue. Also, ask him to clear his cache and cookies in IE8 and see if that resolves the issue.
