I'm a fairly new smoker of "quality" cigars. In the two years that I have been smoking, one thing that I have realized is that it is a painstaking process to produce a good, quality cigar. I have been in the automotive business for over 30 years. My dream car is an Austin Martin. Why? Because every one is still hand made. All the leather hand picked, hand dyed, hand sewn including the dashboard. The all aluminum frame hand welded and all put together by hand. They produce as many cars in a year as GM does in a day! With all of the reading that I have done, I have found that fine cigars are much like fine cars. A short period on the stalk, but many years of procesing, turning, storing, more turning, more processing, resting, blending.... And after all of that, it could still be a year or so untill it hits your humidor! When you think about it, 10 bucks for a "quality" cigar is a bargain! Now when I light a good AF, CAO or another fine cigar, I not only enjoy the relaxation that it brings to me, but appreciate the quality and time that when into bringing me this enjoyment. For those newbies like me, hit the www.cigarfamily.com webpage and educate yourself. You'll be glad you did.
