How is Star of the East? I miss McClelland Oriental and I'm trying to find a decent replacement. What I like is referred to as "oriental forward" meaning featuring it like the old McClelland series. Seen anything like it? Really can't have Latakia as it drowns out the more delicate ynedje and Samara type of flavor. Maybe I'll call Peretti tomorrow and get their take on it.

SotE is delicious to me, but I feel like it's pretty heavy on the Latakia flavors.

Thanks for the reminder of tobacco reviews. Been years since I checked it but I will see if they have any info on a replacement for Yenidje Supreme by McClelland or something close. Can't hurt to call Peretti, too.
