So a little background...This week I've take 2 midterms, and have two Finals tomorrow. Needless to say...4 exams in one week is a rough course load when they are all senior level classes. I've slept 10 cumulative hours since last friday night (about 2 hrs a day) and on top of the exams...had course registration.
For those that have been out of college physically (but maybe not mentally :laugh
for some time, degree plans get longer and longer, and it becomes increasingly more difficult to plan it out, given that some Universities don't even offer the course your required to take during a semester where you have to take it.
Well, given the additional headache of dragging out all of my degree planning material, this week has been hectic to say the least. My degree plan is 128hrs, or practically 4.5 semesters. Well, I actually discovered something phenomenal, at least to me. Keeping in mind that I didn't do any honors or "concurrent" high school classes that transferred any credit out of high school, I've been busting my hump to graduate a semester earlier than my projected graduation date...which given the amount of hours...was actually two semesters early.
Turns out, with an extra course next semester, I'll be able to graduate a whole YEAR earlier than my projected grad date, and a year and a half ahead of the schedule for my required hours. Of course I'll have to take summer school to finish it up a little early, but the thought of getting through a University like Texas A&M a whole year early, while starting freshman year with 0 hours really made my gloomy week brighter, if only for a moment.
Going to be weird trying to enter the Labor force at the age of 21...but If I can conquer college in 3 years...who knows what'll happen!?! The thought got me really excited...all the planning ahead was well worth it. Sorry guys, I had to tell someone
Time to smoke a special one.
