What a month...

This month I:
Had my car broken into/laptop stolen the day before my first interview for a manager position at my company.
Lost all my pre-interview research when my laptop was stolen.
Had my laptop recovered by the police in perfect condition (What a story!)
Realized they reinstalled Windows on my laptop so all my data was gone (Can't win 'em all, I guess).
Was informed my wife of three months is two months pregnant.
Found out my wife's boss had 99% of his many millions in the Madoff hedge fund, so now he's virtually broke and she's unemployed.
Got the promotion to manager after four grueling interviews (Yeah!).

Like many of you, my life is typically drama-free. This month has just been a wild ride. Here's to hoping things calm down in '09. I wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year.
