What adventures have you had?

Too many to detail, but a few I can remember right now..

tons of climbing, a favorite being this:

31.5 years of riding on snow, highlights being coasting thru uncharted trees, and tucking this trail top to bottom (just under 2k vert. feet, it's the only trail you can see from top to bottom)

I've ridden down a class 5 rapids without a raft (thank got for the lifejacket)

I've listed a few more that didn't read well, so I'll leave it at that.

3 years in USPC. That's the United States Peace Corps for all you Marine Corps bastids. I was stationed in Kenya, but also traveled in Ethiopia and Egypt. Most of the stories I could tell would seem unbelievable, so I generally only get to share them with other PC volunteers. I'm going to be the craziest story telling grandfather on earth, and no-one will believe a single word of it. Sort of like that movie Big Fish.

I'd love to hear some of them stories. I've heard some of the most incredible stuff from Peace Corp volunteers.

16 years of responding to 911 calls

(some REALLY entertaining ones too!)

Haha! That the first thing that went through my mind as well when I saw this thread, except it has only been 2 years for me, and only part time. I met and treated "God" one time! We picked him up from a jail cell at the police station. The police officer tasered (sp?) him. I told the police officer that he is ABSOLUTELY going to hell for tasering God!

When I was young and stupid(er) I had many nefarious adventures. Thank goodness for statutes of limitations.
