It seems that the Nicaraguan government has revived an old idea of connecting the Atlantic & Pacific Oceans once again with what is speculated to be supported by the Chinese government.
With the building of hundreds of miles of canals and support roads, what effect will this have on the tobacco industry and the lands it now occupies? Will ANY tobacco companies be affected being that most/some are in or near mountainous regions?
