What if it wasn't McDermott's fault?

I was listening to Sirius NFL radio and the topic of discussion was Sean McDermott. They offered a few questions that made me think about the future of the bills. With numerous organizations seemingly making crazy choices to fire coaches, others making seemingly crazy choices of who to hire, and the Browns continuing to add fuel to their dumpster fire, the question is "did the Bill's fire McDermott when the fault lies with Josh Allen?"

They pointed out many poor decisions and poor passes made by Josh in playoff games and asked the question "what if". What if someone else comes in and can't stop Josh from making bad plays? It does seem rather odd that the Bills are literally putting all their eggs in the Josh Allen basket.

I like Josh Allen and I chose him and the Bills to win the SB, but after listening to the hosts point out his mistakes at critical times, I also have to wonder.

Why’d you have to go and post this?
I could go on and on about my sorry BILLS but I will just say this about Josh. Sure he’s made mistakes at critical times. He’s also made hero near impossible plays countless times and by almost every metric is the best playoff QB in history. The Buffalo BILLS are cursed. Can anyone show me another team that’s had the unreal bad luck the BILLS have had these past ten years? I know boo hoo, tiny violins and all that but I’ve been a psycho BILLS fan for fifty years and it is clear to me even with Superman under center we will never ever win a title.

Craig, I feel your pain! But I wouldn't give up yet. I'm not sure I accept the "Josh Allen blew it" theory and maybe a new look will be what's needed. Despite being a devout Steelers fan I have always had a love for the Bills because I grew up a few miles from the Kelly family and I played high school football against Jim. Jim's dad worked with my dad and Jim's brother lived with my brother for a while. I never saw such a shitty series of events that kept Jim from winning a SB and nobody will EVER go to four in a row again!

By pure coincidence I went to Jim's last game in Buffalo and he announced his retirement shortly after that game.
