A lot of his music gives me that 'I've heard that tune before' feeling. I can hear a trace of it in The Road Goes on Forever. Could be the origin. I am a fan of TLK, love the uniqueness of his voice.

Edit: Shoulda said a trace of The Road Goes On Forever in Well Known Stranger, as TRGoF definitely came first, heh.
