This is one of the songs that my quasi-classic rock cover band used to do back in Germany.
I think I have this in SQ quad vinyl and a digital 4.0 SACD. THERE IS A 5.1 AND ATMOS BLU-RAY OUT THAT IS ON MY LIST TOO.
Been a fan for decades. Camel is in the same vein.
Comment I liked:
definitely a classic prog album - not the grandiose cosmic scale of floyd, or the epic overblown proto-metal of rush or the dense, sonically mature, textured, almost neurasthenic walls of sound of Yes or Genesis or the heavy, dark, exhilaratingly wild and tumbling melodies of crimson, or the extremely abstruse, varied and heavy experimentation of ELP. Octopus is brilliant in how eccentric and unique it is, the combinations of instruments and vocal styles, the complex arrangements and timings. And it works.
