if you don’t watch the entire No Quarter Tour, don’t miss this version of The Battle of Evermore. It’s worth it just to watch Jimmy Page playing the mandolin section of his triple-necked guitar

I taped this and The Song Remains The Same off of MTV in the mid-90s when Page/Plant did this tour, and I about wore out that VHS tape. "Kashmir" and "Gallow's Pole" are two standouts amongst a bevy of perfection.

First time I heard this was on the radio when I was in Germany. I thought, "How peculiar...". Then I learned what the song was about and I'm not sure I feel any better about it!
