Neil Sedaka's " Love Will Keep Us Together" and Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" were recorded at the same place - Strawberry Studios in Stockport, UK, seven years apart. 10CC owned the studio and were Sedaka's backing band on the song..

Live Friday

Lynyrd Skynyrd, 'One More From the Road' (1976)

One More From the Road is the first and only live album from the group with the original classic line-up. Recorded over 3 shows in early July at the Fox Theater in Atlanta it was released in October of '76 and certified Gold 43 days later. While not at the Fox Theater I was at the Spirit of 76 show in Memphis on July 4th which directly preceded the Fox shows which started on the 7th. This album is best known for the 11:30 version of Free Bird.

Originally released as a double vinyl record set the first 1986 CD left off 2 songs due to space limitations. The 2nd CD release in 1996 was a 2 CD set with the missinf 2 songs and 3 bonus songs from the Fox shows. In 2001 a 25th anniversary 2 CD set was released that had the original unoverdubbed version of Free Bird along with the overdubbed version plus the bonus song all remastered and in the original playing order.
