What sweet and delightful cigars do you light up?

Stop making threads at every single whim. Use the search button: read more, post less.

Edited to say:

It's costly and it's annoying for those of us who like to skim the forum.
Oh, I don't know. Sometimes something new comes up. Besides, if "time is of the essence", I can not click on it. ;) You do have a valid point, though, and one new posters should heed.

Search is your friend! :D
Yeah, thats what I'm thinking vortex...but seriously, i do use search. Of course some good stuff is there(maybe stuff about sweet cigars and even rum cigars but probably not really what I'm looking for), and its not going to help me nearly as much as direct answers to my question.

I, for one, actually don't mind newbies "junking" up forums(not this one, but others) if thats what some of you think of it as. New threads add lots of diversity, and I get tired of olds threds hanging around.

I know the etiquette of forums, but isn't the best way to learn by asking questions? Anyways I usually don't tell people to keep it to themselves.

To Martin, I've never seen a response from you anyhow so why should you be concerned? If you don't want waste your time. Don't. Its a waste of my time hearing it from you specifically when you don't even take the time to respond in a postive way.

Bad Martin...bad!

I understand the "search" guys. I wasn't trying to be a stiff in my earlier post, just stating my mind. I'll try using search more, but if I cannot ask question, thid forum is pretty useless to me because i certainly can't answer any, unless they relate to life in general or relationships. I that case, I can give you a load of BS you probably won't want to read, :D

The problem isn't about you asking questions. We all have questions when we first start out and will continue to do so. It's that you've been here a week and already have more topics started (9) then I'd guess 50% of the membership. If you'll do a search first and find something that relates to your search or find a close enough topic, ask your question on that thread. As a last resort, start a topic to ask your question.

It just seems that you don't want to do any research within the site. If you'd be patient and do your homework beforehand, I'm sure most of your questions(topics) have been discussed over and over again.

Do you really understand?

Rum flavored cigars - try them!

As far as the "sweet, smooth, mild cigar" - do a search on each(individually) of these adjectives - include the word 'cigar' after each. You may find some things to look at in the forums.

Here's a link to a guide on reviews...it may help you categorize your adjectives...or give you some detail.
oh - and a cigar tasting wheel or 2 <----- I like this one! :D

If you do a search and don't find anything about 'rum flavored' cigars or 'sweet, smooth, mild cigars'...that may be telling you something.

Anything else, Barryman?

Clearly if you take the time to look over the discussions of the last few days the truth of this statement should be obvious.

It doesn't appear that you do.

This sort of response won't get you very far here.  If people take the time to clarify what we hold to be standards of pr
ctice/behavior here on CP and you feel it is a waste of your time you definitely don't 'get it.'

I sent him the link to the newbie trade thread.

That should slow him down a bit and show him what CP is all about at the same time

I seriously never thought of that. Now that is an idea. When everyone says search, I just think,"search and read". :D I will be doing that though, just never thought of it like that

Wooop, there it is! What I highlighted screams out tha you're here for your own gratification. You seem to be intelligent, somewhat articulate, and very impatient. George or Neal had a thread about this a year or so ago that summed this attitude pretty well, but I'm unable to find it. Gimme, gimme, I want it all now and you guys MUST be here to give it to me. I guess the point is moot, now that Barryman burned his bridge, but this might serve as an example to other newbs.

Though not a flavored cigar, I find the Onyx Mini Belicosco somewhat sweet. The taste of the wrapper on the lips is especially so. The smoke I consider a medium, and if you can let em sit for 6 months they seem quite smooth.

It is one of my favorite $3 cigars
