I clip mine over the garbage or ash tray. I know people do save them to repair cigars with. Thats the only reason id think to save em.

Oh wow, I can't even begin to imagine how annoying it would be railing ground cigar caps...especially the part where there's ground tobacco in your nose. Bleh.
