What will the Bosox do now?

The Sox (although I have very good friends in Boston and don't really have favorite in the Boston NY series) looked like they were anemic on offense and had the deer in the headlights look. The Sox have a lot of work ahead, but I think they may fare better at home. In fact, they are going to have to do real well at home to have a chance.

I was flipping between the Cards/Astro game and the Yanks/Sox game. Go Cards!

You'd think after getting their ass kicked by the Yankees for the last 100 years, they'd drop the whole stunned look when they're in Yankee stadium... but nope.

If there is a curse it'll only last 100 years. They should just give up until 2020 and then start trying. :D

Sssssssssssssssssssssweep! Yea baby!!

As a long suffering Indians fan who thought the Sox could pull one off on the Yanks....two words come to mind

Go Cards! :p

(sorry Dixie)

PS - At least the freakin Braves are out!

My father took me to see one game of the Cards/Yanks World Series in 1964. Hall of Famers everywhere you looked. Gibson, Mantle, Berra, Brock, McCarver and Ford. Memories that only a child could have of the thrill of the game still remain. If there is another series like that this year I wouldn't mind too much if the Cards won (but I'll still root for the Yanks) :)

The Yanks weak link was supposed to be pitching.

So far, too good. Nice at bat by Damon last night though. What was it, 16 pitches for one at bat? That was about 20% of Lieber's total pitch count.
