Very nice Scotch. Smooth, flavorful, nice top notes of pears and apples. Good expression of the classic BenRiach profile. Was only about $35, too!

I got back into that French Le Gin from the Scotch buy with Fever Tree's Bitter Lemon.

On a whim. It sounded like it might be a good combo.

And it is!

I've been drinking some Woodford Reserve Rye that I'm pretty impressed with. And, they haven't gone and raised the price the, what seems to be, standard $10-$20 for their rye version.

Really good stuff.

Last night was vodka tonics---Reyka vodka from Iceland, Fever Tree Naturally Light tonic water, fresh limes. Really crisp and clean for the summer heat!

Tonight it's Lebowskis.

I use the Reyka, and Cayman Reef Kona Dark Roast coffee liqueur, which is richer and much less sweet than Kahlua.

For a nice after dinner drink for the past few weeks I've been doing some Apple Crown with Diet Ginger Ale. Very refreshing. I've also found it very drinkable on a hot day out by the pool.
