What's in your pipe? 2021

La Brumese Semois in a Savinelli Tortuga. The handkerchief was made and embroidered by my wife as a gift for our thriteenth anniversary. Semois is what made me see the light in pipe smoking. I have been feverishly trying other blends since, but have not found anything that I enjoy as much as Semois.

Solani Aged Burley Flake in an Eric Nording Keystone. This is the second Keystone pipe I have owned. The first one was given to me as my first pipe by a worker in The Bell tobacco shop in Missoula Mt. It smoked so well, I gave it to my best friend from highschool, and bought another a few years later. They are cheap, about $30, so I refined mine with a needle file and some fine grit sandpaper. For the price, they can't be beat. The burley flake is pretty good too.image.jpeg
